Suggest Remedy For Migraine

I ve MIGRAINES for 35 years and went they get this bad the only thing that works is demerol, I have phenergan nothing is working. Over the years I ve tried everything. I have gone to the hospital and they have given me a shot and it works but I can t afford to go I live on SSI and my husband is a contractor and there is no work. I have a box full of things I ve tried no luck. Can you help me?

Hi,

First of all, there are many factors which can cause headache such as oral contraceptive pills, hypertension, menopause and renal diseases. Thus, you should do some investigations to exclude these causes. Second, Demerol cannot treat migraine. If you did not have systemic illnesses, you could take Amitriptyline for 3 days then one tablet before sleep to prevent migraine.
