Had Urine Examination. What Does The Finding Suggest?

can you please help me understand the result of my and my mother s urine examination? MY MOTHER S: Color: YELLOW Reaction: ALKALINE pH: 8.3 Transparency: SL. TURBID Sp. Gravity: 1.009 RBC: 0-1 /Hpf PUS Cells 0-2 /Hpf Crystals (A. Phosphate) : FEW Epithelial Cells: MODERATE =========================== MY URINE EXAM: Color: YELLOW Reaction: ACID pH: 6.0 Transparency: SL. TURBID Sp. Gravity: 1.020 Albumin: TRACE RBC: 0-1 /Hpf PUS Cells 2-4 /Hpf Crystals (A. Urates) : FEW (Ca Oxalate) : MODERATE Epithelial Cells: FEW Mucus Thread: FEW

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Both of you are suffering from urinary tract infection.
Colour is turbid due to presence of pus cells and RBC.
Normally urine doesn't contain pus cells.Pus cells,RBC,Epithelial cells and mucus thread also indicate towards UTI.
You and your mother need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity test.
Ultrasound of KUB region should also be done.
Alkalizing syrup should also be given to change PH of urine.
