Had Transvaginal Sling Surgery For Urinary Incontinence, Developed Stool Incontinence. Reason?

I had transvaginal sling surgery in 2008 for urinary incontinence and soon after I developed Stool incontinence. Why? I never had problems with stool, bowel , etc...I told the surgeon , and he answered that it s the stool incontinence is not his domain. What kind of doctor tells that to a patient.I have a lot of urinary infections, too.I also told the surgeon that after the surgery my urinary incontinence was worst. He almost laughed in my face & said that it s not possible.Help me please
