Had Period Twice In The Same Month. Having Sharp Random Pains In Lower Hip And Feeling Nauseous And Anxious. Underlying Causes?

Hi I am 19 and I have had my period twice this month but the second time the color was off and did not look normal until the second day. I have also been having sharp random pains around my lower right hip, and been feeling very nauseous and lightheaded. I have history of ulcers and anxiety issues and I wanted to know if stress can cause this?

Hi,
Yes, stress can lead to hormonal imbalance.
So the possible cause for your intermenstrual bleeding could be hormonal imbalance or the tablets used by you.
If there is any possibility of pregnancy, better to rule out that once.
If you decrease stress and modify the lifestyle possibly the problem will subside.
If intermenstrual bleeding occurs in future also, better to consult gynecologist once and get evaluated.
Take care.
