Had Hip Replacement, Bundle Branch Blockage, A-fib. Cause?

Yes. I was having hip replacement and had already had one done and no problem. I have bundle branch blockage. Just as they were starting, putting me to sleep my heart had a long pause. they woke me up and ask about putting in a pacemaker just for the replacement. They said I also had A-Fib. I said I wanting to wait to see my own heart dr. So I wondered what would cause this. I had stress test , echo gram and heart cath. 6 months ago and all was well

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It may not be Coronary Artery Disease, but a disease of the conduction system of the heart is most probable. The description is highly suggestive of SICK SINUS SYNDROME...

HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / or event monitor – needs to be done to analyse and plan for further management....
Electro Physiological Studies (EPS) may be necessary > it resembles angio – a catheter is put inside the heart / electrical activity recorded / stimulation and suppression tests are carried out / suitable medicine tested and so on. Though the test is the gold standard, it is INVASIVE and is not generally done unless there are compelling indications. This super-speciality expert is called ELECTRO-PHYSIOLOGIST.
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
A pacemaker may ultimately be necessary...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
