Had Flu, Gone, Nausea, Vomiting Feeling, Dizziness In Throat. What Should Be Done?

i had the flu for like a week going on this is the second week most of my symptoms are gone like ache body, cough , congestions is almost gone, but i had nausea and vomiting feeling during and now i woke up with more nausea and vomiting feeling along with dizzyness my throat is still sore but i have a yucky no taste in my mouth .

Hi Rocio,
Thanks for writing your query.

You should get following investigations done :-
1. Liver Function Test(LFT).
2. Complete Blood Count(CBC).
3. Throat swab culture.
4. Urine examination.

You can take antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg once a day along with Domperidone 10 mg for relief from nausea and vomitting. You can take antihistamine like Fenofexadine 120 mg along with a decongestant like Phenylepherine to get relief from throat problem.
Paracetamol can be taken for mild pain and fever.

Rest medication will depend upon the reports of your investigations.


If the problem persists, get yourself clinically examined.
