Had Faceut Joint Injection With Botox And On 'lyrica' (25 Mg) And 'tramadol(zydol)' ( 200 Mg) And Still Suffering From Low Back Pain?

Hi
Terrible low back pain, had all scans etc nothing structural wrong,I think I have just had a break down.I had faceut joint injection with botox in June and it made pain worse. Going to work in morning, preschool teacher.coming home and needing to sleep or just stop activity.dragging myself into action again at these to put on my mask for my children once they are home from school.bed around 10 pm,sleep for few hours waking constantly with pain .I had sacroiliac joint injection scheduled for Tuesday of last week which was cancelled as I bad a severe cold sore on my mouth .I was hanging on mentally and physically for this and I can honestly say I crashed,my body has given up.my ability to cope with pain is gone and I can't speak without crying.my doctor prescribed palaxia and I had a terrible reaction to it,from insane rage to nonstop crying.came off it yesterday and now I am taking lyrica
have brain fog, slurred speech, wakefulness, but it is hitting the pain ,taking 25 mg with 200 mg tramadol(zydol).will I continue with this tablet as I am scared side effects will end up like palaxia

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The facet joint injection of botox has only a short lasting effect in relieving the pain. You need to have oral muscle relaxants and regular back strengthening exercises for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
