Had Cuts On Penis With Swelling And Puss. What Could Be The Cause?

After a day at work as a dish washer, my pants were wet, and for a while, the head of my penis was rubbing against my pants. After a while, it felt some discomfort, as if there was something scratching at it. When I got home, I poured some peroxide on it to see if there were any small cuts. Instead, the spot flared up, and began to look like it was swelling with pus! Why would this happen? What is happening?

Hello,
It can be due to Bacterial infection following cut injury in penis.
It is too worsened by wet dress.
It can be easily treated with antibiotics and proper wound care.
We usually prescribe broad spectrum antibiotics like ciprofloxacin.
Your treating physician well known about the dose and duration of the treatment.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
