Had Complete Hysterectomy Due To Fibroid, Lost 20 Lbs. Abdominal Area Not Healing, Giggly. Will I Be Able To Tighten That?

I am a 49 year old female. I just had a complete hysterectomy because of 2 very large fibroids. My incision is almost 9 inches vertical stopping 2 inches above my navel (57 staples). I lost 14 lbs since the surgery and it's only been 4.5 weeks.. Now I want to continue to lose 20 lbs, but my abdominal area is still healing. It's very "giggly" with an overhang. Will I be able to tighten that up or not?

Hi, It appears that you are over weight before surgery, Most probably the abdomen wall will contreact to a 3/4 of the previous level naturally, rest of the loose skin you must try hard to be completed, You will get belts for abdominal wall, exercises are there to minimise the stomach. Among them one is sqeez stomach in side and keep for a length of time , and like wise several times a day. Diet controle most important.Thank you.
