Hi,

I can understand your concern for non healing surgical site wound.

There can be mutiple causes of non-healing and the treating surgeon must consider important of causes and rule out all the causes according clinical acumen.

If I were your treating doctor then would have gone for culture and sensitivity of the pus from the wound site and accordingly the best suitable antibiotic.

A abdominal CT scan would be of most help to know the exact cause of oozing if any inside the abdomen.

Hope it helps.
