Had Abdominal Cramps, Hip, Leg And Back Pain With Heavy Period. Had Tubes Tied. Is Something Wrong With Ovaries?

Last month, my period came on & I had MAJOR abdominal cramps, pain in my back & hips & it radiated down my legs. (My tubes are tied going on 4 yrs now) My period was VERY heavy with major blood clots till the very end which was about 5 days. Since then, Ive been having hip pain & radiating pain in my legs still. During ovulating time, I always have pain in my ovaries as well. I took several pregnancy tests, all negative. What could be going on? Oh & Im 3 days late this month. Im always on time.. every 28 days.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Missed period, tied tubes, and severe abdominal pain are a triad of a very serious condition called ectopic pregnancy. Although rare, I would still advise you to visit youe doctor at the earliest and get an ultrasound investigation conducted on youe abdomen and pelvis. Please do not take this lightly as I would feel most comfortable if ectopic pregnancy were ruled out immediately.
