Groin, Hip Pain On Climbing Stairs, Pain Recurring On Running. Suggestions?

I am a runner and recently I did stair climbs. I did not notice any pain until late that same night when my right side of my groin or maybe hip started hurting. I took about a week off of running until I didn t notice the pain. I then went for a run and it started to hurt real bad again. I just want to fix this thing so I can continue running. Any advice?

Hi,
Perhaps this could be a hernia. I suggest you see your doctor who will be able to take a closer look.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger,
