Groin and thigh area full of pimples. Pus filled and hard on the outside. Treatment?

I have had a recurring pimple like lump on my upper thigh/ groin . Sometimes it is fine with no swelling and it feels like an indent. ( I think it might be an old chicken pox scar ) Other times it is swollen puss filled and very tender. It is very soft except around the outside bump which feels like a hard ring. What is this and how do I get it to go away?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
with little history, it seems that you are having follicullitis .
It is an infection of hair follicle.
In your case it is relapsing.
Relapse may be due to poor nutrition, poor hygiene and poor immunity.
Blood tests may be done to rule out..DM,HIV,anaemia and other internal diseases.
Take bath with dettol, the antiseptic , avoid soap bath.
Have good nutrition, take healthy diet.
Do not worry. Avoid stress.
Proper antibiotics for long time may improve your disease.

Hope you got my answer.
