Got Scratch From Iron Piece. Wound Become Red And Swollen. Took Tetanus Injection. Applied Gelatin. Remedy?
I got a scratch from a rusty iron piece and very little blood came out then i cleaned it with savalon. But till next day it started becoming red around the wound. So i got a tetanus injection and applied gentian violet paint on it . till next day it got swollen and watery erythemia around it and on the wound with rednes. So iconsulted a doctor, he gave me an antiseptic injection. and he gave me flutibact ointment to be applied 4 times a day.But it worsened as i had applied the ointment in large quantity and put surgipad on it and changed it after 1 day till 2 days now it has covered more area has become red and swollen. It keeps itching and now paining too. got hurt 1 week ago. Plz help

It seems that you got sever infection on the part.
One injection of antibiotic is not going to help spreading infection.
What requires is go for oral antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days along with anti-inflammatory medicines.
Go for regular dressing by the doctor only.
Merely applying antibiotic cream is not going to help.
Now consult your doctor and get your wound cleaned properly with antiseptic lotion and get dressing done.
Ok and take care.
