Got Mole Removed. Having Pain, Redness Around Area, Yellow Pus. Serious?

I recently had a mile removed on my buttock. I had dissolvable stitches put in and glue over them it s been about 2weeks and the Stiches seem to be dissolved but they still hurt a little to sit on and around them is slightly red. Where the incision was you can see a little bit of what I think is yellow puss. Is there a problem here or is this normal?

Hi,
Pus coming out of the wound is usually a sign of infection. This may be accompanied by swelling and redness in the area, pain and temperature. I would recommend a visit to your doctor for a decision regarding whether you need a course of antibiotics.
