Given Decapeptyl Injection And Duphaston Twice. Took BCP. Want To Conceive. Continue Taking Duphaston?
Hello. I was given decapeptyl injection and duphaston twice a day on 17th day of my cycle in aug. (LMP 30july) and other medicines that I take are eltroxin 50 mcg, codesoft and Fol 123. I took BCP from jan till april and now want to conceive. Hence the medicines given. My periods came late on 2 sep and my cycle is of 28 days. I had intercourse with my husband on 14th. Flow is less but with clots. Im feeling nauseous. Doctor says to continue with duphaston and check with HPT and then let her know after one week. My question is can be pregnant and having a miscarriage or its just a normal delayed period and should i continue taking duphaston?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The bleeding that you are having is more likely to be due to be a delayed period rather than an early miscarriage. This can be further confirmed by getting your serum beta HCG levels evaluated. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
