Frostbite, After Cardiac Arrest. Had Inability To Walk. What Affected The Quad Muscles?
Thank you. I believe I suffered frostbite when I was in the hospital due to cardiac arrest. I was wrapped in an ice blanket and when it was all done, I was unable to walk. It has been 10 months and I am still trying to walk with ease. My quad muscles were gone and I was in PT for months. Could I have suffered frostbite?

The excessive direct exposure to ice can cause a frost bite and numbness for some time. The loss of muscle power is more likely to be related to a central cause like stroke. An MRI of brain will help in confirmation.
