Frequent Urge To Urinate, Swollen Sensation In Vagina, Light Red Bleeding. Treatment?

I am a 46 yr old mum of 3 children, Recently I have been having the urge to urinate frequently but often just a tiny trickle will come out. At the same time I have a swollen feeling in my vagina and a pressing down feeling which comes and goes, kind of tickly? although I can t see any blood in the toilet when I do urinate during the last few days when I wipe myself there is some light red smear of blood on toilet paper.

Hi thabks for your question.
The symptoms which have described are of urinary tract infection (UTL) Get your urine examination done to confirm or rule out UTI.Take plenty of water and consult a physician who may prescribe you antibiotic along with other drug for your UTI.

Your symptoms of repeated urge to urinate suggests urinary tract infection.

Spotting could be due to local injury or abrasion which needs physical examination by a Gynecologist.

I recommend you to:

1. Get a urine routine and microscopy.

2. Urine culture and sensitivity.

3. Antibiotics and urine alkalizer

4. Drink lot of fluids.
