Fluctuating Blood Pressure, Increased Heart Rate While Relaxing, Sore Neck, Jaw. Cause?

I have been having heart palpitations mostly when I sit or lie down for approx 1 week. I went to the ER and the cardiologist and as a result was cleared of anything wrong with my heart. My blood pressure fluctuates but does not go beyong 140/80. Mt heart rate increases at night while relaxed to 80-90 beats per minute. My neck and jaw are sore as well. What could it be beyond my heart?

Hello daizee80 , welcome to healthcaremagic.com
As per your case history i see you have been evaluated both by ER doctor and a cardiologist who have ruled out any cardiac ailments , so please do not worry. However the cause for your hypertension is still unclear and unknown . I would like to enquire more about your hypertension i.e., since how long you are having such blood pressure , anything above 120/80 mm of Hg is not exactly normal if you are symptomatic , also i would like to know your age and how often do you have this neck and jaw sore/ pain / pain equivalents? Do you suffer from indigestion and other co-morbid conditions . You have not provided the details of your electrocardiogram and echocardiogram reports , so i will assume they are within normal limits. My suggestion to you is if you are experiencing this kind of symptoms with gradual increase in no of episodes then please visit a general physician/ internal medicine physician for opinion. Hope i have helped you with your doubts. Thank you
