Fever And Chest Congestion In 4 Years Old Child
My 4 yr. old son is having fever in grade of 100-101 in past 2 days with mild chest congestion , however fever does not subside easily with Crocin syrup, infact we have to give Sumo syrup for the same. Please advise.

Hi Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum,
Since its been two days with fever, he has a Respiratory Infection, which won't be cured unless he is put on antibiotics (Eg: Amoxyclav or Cefixime) Take him to a Pediatrician and get him examined. In the meantime, you can continue Crocin Syrup, 5ml twice to thrice daily. Apply cold sponges whenever the temperature reaches more than 100 deg F.
