I fell off a ladder on the 8 of this month, im awaiting a mri in two days, i fell directly on my right knee the bruising went all the way down to my ankle within two days, I have had alot swelling that has not gone down and had a small laceration on my knee they treated me intravenously for infection and am still taking antibiotics they removed one large syringe and told me that he could have gotten at least 3 more . im still in alot of pain it hurts when i bend it like someone slicing the front with a knife, they did an xray nothing broken, the swelling is on the inside and front when i push on it its like a gel and my whole knee is numb. i ice use heat use tensor bandage, while i am waiting for my brace to come in i elevate it at nite i take naproxin and tylenol3 for pain
