Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

A pacemaker can only take care of the rate. It will not address the pain.
For chest pain – she needs to be investigated for Coronary Artery Disease. / Stress ECHO and/or EKG is usually necessary; Because of pacing, a pharmacological stress will be necessary; coupled with thallium, is even better...

The limited information provided is not sufficient enough to arrive at an appropriate conclusion and further suggestion... / You have not stated her personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities, even age ...which could influence the diagnosis and outcome... / The treating doctor alone can suggest based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
