Feel Like Pneumonia. Feel Tired. Started With Headaches, Ear Pain. Took Amoxicillin. Chest Is Tight. Smelling Mid Chest. Treatment?

I have been sick for 11 days! I went to dr yesterday and he upped antibiotics! I am sicker, feel like walking pneumonia! I can do much for more than a couple hours and have to lay down! It started w/headaches. Did not think much of it, then the ear started w/pain for 3 days. Bi realized i gad amoxicillin on hand and started on them, not taking enough per dr! Actually i went to see him monday! I am miserable. My chest is tight, cough a but. Last night i had a bad runny nose. I have a weird swelling in mid chest above breasts. Like right where congestion feels like it is! What to do?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

You might have contracted a bacterial and/ or viral mild pneumonia.

Antibiotics dont work until complete course is not completed. Please inform this to your doctor and complete the course of antibiotics you are presently taking.
Do gargling and it may help relieve congestion in the throat.

Take antihistamines like Benadryl syrup to relieve cough.
