Faster Heart Beat, Pressure In Middle Of Chest. Under Medication For Back Surgery And Nerve Problems. Normal?
my heart fell like it 's going to jump right out of my chest. It beats real fast and hard ! Sometimes it fells like I have a lot of pressure in the middle of my chest ! I am on a lot of medication from back surgery and also nerve medication from the loss of my only child .but I was having this before all the medication.! this is very freaky because heart attacks run in my family ! Is this normal ?
The symptoms are indeed concerning and even more if you have other risk factors for heart disease other than a family history, such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking, diabetes or obesity. It needs to be evaluated further, likely with a modality such as an exercise or pharmacologic stress test to determine if there are hints of obstructions in the arteries of the heart.
