Eyes Feel Heavy, Trouble Sleeping. Read A Lot. What Is The Cause? Prevention?
hello i have been getting to sleep on a regular basis for the past week (little more then 7 hours of sleep) and i feel like i have a lot more energy, but my eyes still feel heavy, especially when i do reading on a computer screen which is hindering my reading speed. I spend a great deal amount of time on the computer reading (3 hours) and on tablets reading ebooks (3 hours) with breaks every 30-40 minutes and i'd like to continue this routine if possible. I have daily exercise routines and what i believe to be a healthy diet avoiding junk food. Every now and then if i have trouble sleeping ill take melatonin to help the initial process then i normally stay asleep for a full sleep cycle. so my question is what is causing the heaviness in my eyes, what prevention measures can i take, and any exercises that may be beneficial? thanks- Jon
