Excessive Body Heat. Took Cymbalta For Hot Flashes. Any Advice?

I have excessive body heat. I went on cymbalta 8 yrs ago to control terrible hot flashes. It worked. But i still sem to run "warmer" than t most people year around.
As a child I would periodically wake up in a sweat and have to change my clothes. That happend about once year through my adult life. I am now 62 and virtually and hot year around in a mid atlantic state. Can you suggest any reason?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

You once consult gynecologist, get examined and check for:
Thyroid profile and
FSH levels.
By this possibly the cause for your problem can be identified.
If you are having any thyroid abnormalities you can take related drugs.
If the FSH levels are elevated you can go for phytoestrogens with your doctor's advice and those can help in decreasing the symptoms.
