I had a colonoscopy today. Last week I had an EGD and was given versed and could not remember the procedure at all. Today was totally different, I experienced the worst pain in my life, was awake the entire time, and was given other medications during the procedure. Apparently everything looked good, however I was told by the doctor performing the procedure that my colon was twisted. I also suffer from occasional constipation. I just woke up now after coming home from the hospital, and was checking online about a twisted colon. The dr. told me that there was nothing I could do about this, but my reading is telling me otherwise. I plan on calling the dr. tomorrow. Any suggestions or questions I should be asking her? The morning of the EGD, I also had a CT of my pelvis, abdomen and chest. Thank you, Barbara
