Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does The Steroid Injection Taken For Sinus Infection Causes Headaches And Breathlessness?
I received a steroid injection yesterday for sinus infection, ear infection and I can t remember the name of it. It sounded like Lysol . Trying to find out side effects b/c I have had a headache I can t seem to shake. But I am breathing better...just curious...
although the injection may indeed cause headache, attributing this symptom to the sinus infection itself sounds more reasonable. If the headache is not unbearable and does not come along with other symptoms (like vomiting, nausea, etc) then you can use a painkiller (paracetamol should be the first drug to try) for pain-relief.
I hope I've answered your question. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Dr Zografakis Panagiotis
