Does Spotting And Light Bleeding During Early Pregnancy Lead To Miscarriage?

I discovered I was 5 weeks pregnant. 4 days ago, the last 4 days I've had spotting and light bleeding, but no pain I suffered a micarriage in february this year, I am so scared that this is another miscarriage, I am booked in for an early scan in 2 days but its killing me having to wait that long, is there any chance at all that my baby could e safe or is this almost definately another loss?

Hi... lSpotting and light bleeding is common in first trimester pregnancy and I have seen lots of patients with this continuing till term without any issue and delivering a healthy baby.
As you are waiting for your scan after 2 days, in the mean time you can take progesterone supplementation after consulting your obstetrician because sometimes progesterone defficiency can be a cause.
