Hi, i m a 26yrs old, had diagnosed with PCOD in 2010...i have consulted a gynac and was on medication for treating this irregular period due to PCOS for 6mnths (Med Crimson)....after complition of course for 6months i was getting mensus regularly till 6month after the 7th month i have had got delayed for the next periods more than 40days.

I again consulted to the same gynac and i had started the course for 3months again with low dose (Novelon 0.5mg)......Now in the month of June after complting the course my doc suggested to withhold the course & to see if without med the periods are regular however eversince i am getting my periods every 10th day.

My USG pelvic results are normal done in June 2011--there is no evidence of cyst any more.

In july i again took a course of novelon 21days and got my periods as regular. now again as i have stopped medication it has started bleeding again it has been trice since 29th july when it was my regular period for the last month..

I have also consulted an much experienced gynac who suggested to stop taking all the hormonal medicines and visit again if i get the periods on 10th day.



Please suggest if i can start using Shatavari Poweder to get rid of this polymenorrhea
