Does Sex On 11th Day Of Tubal Litigation Cause Any Damage?

Hi. I had a csection/tubal ligation on the first of this month. I was up and about the very next day and even was discharged from the hospital a day early. My bleeding stopped within a week so on the 11th my husband and I had sex....would I be able to tell if anything was damaged internally?

Hi,

If you are comfortable and no symptoms such as bleeding, then you can have sex after a week of surgery. Better to avoid sex if you are not comfortable. If you have tubal ligation - sterilization immediately after childbirth then wait at least for 4 weeks. Also, based on the procedure done, time period for the wound to heal might vary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
