Does Rash On Buttock Indicate Sign Of HIV?
hai sir,my name is binoj age 26 ,male.
i have been in sex with 10 females ,all using condoms,and i did my last sex on the last week of november and after 3 months i got a small rash on my bum and i got loose motion for 2-3 days near to these days, so i am worried ,,,,,,,,,about this .is this a symptom for hiv?can please advise me

Hi, rash on bum or diarrhoea for 3 days are not the sign of hiv. You may havr some gi infection or other cause for that. However you atd at high risk. Sexual relationship with multiple partners is always a risk factor so you should go for hiv testing once. you can go with hiv 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen combo test.

please avoid multiple sexual partner to avoid such circumstances.
It is less likely that rash and loose motion indicate HIV.
But as you have multiple sex partner you need to go for HIV testing.
So please do that and avoid such high risk sexual activity.

Thank you for query.The symptoms you are suggesting are not specific and may be due to fungal rash.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Apply antifungals like terbinafine which is fungicidal.Once subsides use regularly antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb powder to prevent recurrence.consult doctor if does not subside
