Does Progressive Motility Affect The Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor. Iam 35 years old and my wife 27. She had an abortion twice. The analyses of my sperm showed all normal results except:
1- progressive motility (24%)!
2- motile ratio (40%)!
i would like to know if this can affect the pregnancy or the abortion that she had before! and any advice from you will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

The chances of pregnancy is very low due to low progressive motility, progressive motility of above 40% only able to make pregnancy possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
