Diabetes can occur because of various reasons, improper eating and sedentary life cause diabetes. heredity is also possible but you cannot modify that factor so do not think about it. Chocolates are possibly cause diabetes.

my mom was recently diegnosed with diabetes. we dont know how bad it is but she was given medication to help regulate her sugar but they dont seem to work. her blood sugar is still over 200 plus has blurred vision. Hi Dr. Grief; I need to know the best way to get my hard-headed husband to eat the same as me for we re both diabetic. Mine is unstable with # s in high 200 s to 4oo s while his is in the 100 s. I grew up eating pasta, white bread, beans, lots of cookies,cakes etc so, I have a real problem controlling my sweet tooth and he constantly wants candy bars, choc. pie, long johns creamed filled etc. How should I handle this? my husband was diagnosed with hemochromotosis in June 2013, after 8 hospital stays and numerous test he now has liver failure, diabetes and stage D heart failure.
