Does No Cardic Activity In Ultrasound Means Problem?

hi, I am 28 yrs old, I lost my baby last year around this time due to Rubella IGG infection. Now I'm 7.5 weeks pregnant. last my Ultrasound was on 7th Jan my Dr was expected that they found the cardic activity but it was not shown and suggested to wait 10 days now Today in my ultrasound, again no cardic activity has shown in my test and I am very depressed what can i do?? It means again its miscarriage???

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

If you are confidently at least 6 weeks along based on the last day of your period, and two ultrasounds 10 days apart fail to show cardiac activity, then unfortunately this sounds like a miscarriage. I would hesitate to blame this on Rubella as you are now immune to this virus given your last pregnancy. I think that a second opinion with another OB/GYN is in order.
