Does Menstrual Bleeding After Taking Mifepristone And Misoprostol Indicate Complete Abortion?

i am 31 years old.i took mifepristone and misoprostol for medical abortion for 35 days confirmed pregnancy by preg strip test.didnot take ultrasound. I had my menstrual bleeding after medication for only one day.is there any chances that abortion is not complete

Thanks for the query.
You should not take tablets for abortion without ultrasound.
Sometimes in case of ectopic pregnancy that can lead to complications.
By watching the blood flow we cannot come to one conclusion regarding completion of abortion.
Better to go for ultrasound once.
Ultrasound helps in ruling out any possibility of retained products of conception.
If there are no retained products, no need to worry.
If there are minimal retained products, you can take tablets with your doctor's advice to make them expel.
If retained products are more, you may need D&C.
Don't worry this is rare possibility.
