Hello, I have pain in the lower left side, sometimes a burning feeling, bowel movements but never seems to completely eliminate. Sometimes slight bloody mucous from vaginal area. Recently had Ultrasound of Uterus and endometrium lining and D&C which came back normal. Have large fibroids. I am 69 years old.

Hello,
Large fibroids can, indeed, cause pressure symptoms and you seem to be suffering from the same. Please get a proper evaluation by your health care provider as to the need for removal of the fibroids and their impact on the intestine and bladder. You may try either medical or surgical myomectomy. Though your uterus is otherwise healthy, if it has been diagnosed that your fibroids are affecting the bowel, then removal is the best option; multiple fibroids at your age are best treated by a hysterectomy. Hope this helps.
