Does Knot In Site Of Muscle Cramp Cause Fever?
I got a severe cramp in my upper thigh about a week ago and noticed it was real sore a couple of days ago. There is a big knot under the skin in the same place the spasm occurred. On Wednesday, I felt like I was getting the flu. Went to the doctor and he prescribed Bactrim. Started taking them on Thursday. I am still running fever, approx 100.4-100.9f. Could the knot be causing the fever? How long should it take before the Bactrim starts working?

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic.After going through your query in my opinion you got muscle cramps. It may be related to vitamin deficiencies .Big knot under the skin in the same place the spasm occurred and getting the flu is not related to it. It is separate issue.Knot may be infection causing the fever. Bactrim starts working IN NEARLY 6 HOURS TIME.Fever may be due to flu.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query
