Does Flesh Like Strings In Urine Need Medical Attention?

Hi, I am a 48y male. this morning my urine had stringy things in it. it kind of looked like a small layer of skin maybe coming from my bladder was discharged when peeing. I was just home from running 8 miles. Could it just be bladder irritation from running, or should I go see my doctor?

Hello,

The single episode of such can be neglected.

But it's advisable to investigate with urine routine microscopic examination for primary workup.
If you have any urological history than mention it to discuss further.

You can Consult nearby urologist if repeated excretion of it in the urine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
