Does Ear Wax Cause Adenoid To Enlarge?
Doctor , my son aged 05 years has been detected with ear adenoids and advised for surgery . On cunsulting another doctor was advised that there is a lot of ear wax which could causing the adenoids to enlarge . kindly advise if ear wax could lead to the adenoids to enlarge . Saurav

The increased adenoids are suggestive of an infection. I don't think that they are caused by the ear wax. Anyway, I would recommend trying to clean his ear wax for a month regularly and see if his adenoids situation improves.
