Does Colicaid Intake Cause Loose Motions?

For my daughter of age 1year 3months, suffering from stomach pain, doctor suggested Colicaid for 3 days, 3 times a day 1ml each time. Since yesterday she is having motions, however stomach pain has reduced. Is there any link between colicaid and triggering of motions. What is to be done now.

Respected user , Hi
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Colicaid intake is not causing loose stools .

* It is the underlying infection giving loose motions .

* Recommendations at present

- Drink plenty of liquids with oral rehydration salt
- Soft , light diet at intervals with preferable fresh curd
- Check that food is thoroughly chewed
- In our clinic we also recommend metronidazole , zinc syrup for faster
recovery .

Hope this clears your query .
