Does Bloating And Constant Lower Back Pain Indicate Early Miscarriage?
I believe I was pregnant last month. I became quite bloated within 2 weeks and looked 3-4 months pregnant. I was 5 days late but no positive followed by light period. A further period started again 19 days later. My stomach has however been very bloated and I have constant lower back pain. Is this normal after possible early miscarriage or could it be something else?
Hello, If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles, what you need to do in the current scenario is to go for an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres followed by a clinical evaluation by a specialist and a trans-vaginal sonogram. Thus you can exclude/confirm pregnancy for sure. Even if you had an abortion, your serum titres would confirm this. If negative for pregnancy, this could be just a transient hormone imbalance that has resulted in a disrupted cycle. Spontaneous correction usually occurs in one or two cycles; else, you can get expert help for further management. Hope this helps.
