Does Bleeding During Pregnancy Indicate Possibility Of A Miscarriage?
Had a little bit of bleeding today. Went to emergency room. They found fluid in a cul de sac....does this indicate that a miscarriage is going to happen? What are the chances of a normal pregnancy in this situation? BHCG was 4589. Doctor said that a miscarriage was likely to happen. Have a history of polycystic ovaries.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Bleeding in pregnancy and fluid in cul de sac is indicative of ectopic pregnancy. It is an emergency situation. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible, and get examined. An ultrasound should be done urgently to rule out ectopic pregnancy and further management should be done accordingly.
