Does Bark Cough With Mucus Need Bundling?

my son is 3 and began with a cough yesterday, within twenty-four hours, it sounds horrible, he has an axillary temp of 101.0 and alot of mucous. i used a little vicks and trying to push fluids... should i keep him uncovered? is taking him out into cold wind and rain gonna help or hinder?

What you did is correct. But taking him out in cold whether will increase problems.Instead remain indoor,give warm water to drink,give turmeric milk.Don't give chips,biscuits and chocolate.Give him mucolytic cough syrup like s mucolite and antipyretic to control fever.If breathless then nebulisation would help
