Does Phosphalugel Help In Treating Bitter Taste In My Mouth And Heartburn?

I take rabeprazol for gastric reflux:lasix, carvedilol and candesartan for mitral valve prolapse, spasmomen for IBS and atorvastatin for high cholesterol. I have had a bitter taste in my mouth for 2 weeks and now have heartburn. I tried making an appointment to see a doctor but have to wait a week. Meanwhile can I take PHOSPHALUGEL?
Thank you very much
