Does Methotrexate Causes Excessive Sleepiness?

I am currently taking Methotrexate 15mg orally once a week in addition to Humira 40mg sq weekly for crohns disease of the esophagus, colon and rectum. I started on Methotrexate in Dec. 2012. I have been increasingly tired to the point of sleeping 14-18 hours a day with no relief. Is it a side effect of Methotrexate?

Hi Methotrexate can cause fatigue that can be debilitating at times. I would have suggested my patient an investigation of complete blood picture to rule out anemia at the first place. Then according to the result, further management or investigations can be done.
