Citralopram, or Celexa, is a medication used to treat depression and other types of mood disorders. The class of medication that includes Citralopram does not interfere with birth control or hormone levels, and should not cause any physical symptoms.
Pelvic and back pain can have other causes, like premenstrual changes, or even a urinary tract infection, so i suggest that if your symptoms persist you consider seeing a local physician for evaluation.
I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
