Do Polyps In Brain, Muscular Problems And Lack Of Bladder Control Signify Multiple Sclerosis?

Hi, I keep getting stuck in painful positions, that's the only way I can describe it. This happens frequently to many parts of my body, and I now have bladder problems that I can't control. I also have polyps on my brain and muscular skelatal problems. Do you think this sounds like MS?

Thanks in advance for your time. Nancy

Hi Ms Nancy,

Thank you for posting your query.

First of all, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms are not suggestive of multiple sclerosis.

These painful spasms could be related to low sodium or calcium or potassium in the blood. This can be confirmed by doing blood tests.

Calcium supplementation would be helpful.

What do you mean by polyps in brain, as polyps generally do not appear in brain (they occur in gut, etc).

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
