Do Polyps Causes Joint Pain?

I have been recently diagnosed with Polyps (2 at least) plus think lining of uterus and I have also been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis(autoimmune arthritis). Wondering if my joint pain (hips, low back, pelvis, tail bone) could all be associated with the polyps and the AS may be wrong? Is it common that polyps or fibroids could cause joint pain or nerve pain?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Polyps does not cause joint pain. If joint pain persists underlying causes like poly arthritis must be ruled out. Consult a rheumatologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
