Dizziness, Feeling Faint. B12 Shot Taken. Blood Test Showing WBC, RBC, MCV Done. Treatment?

I felt like I was going to black out today at dinner at a restaurant. I have wbc or 3.0 rbc of 3.65 and mcv of 100.4 per my physical results I got back yesterday. I was also give a B12 shot by my doctor a few days ago. Do I need to be concerned with these results from my physical and how I felt today my A1c is 4.8? What do you think?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM,

Your reports show you might be having megaloblastic anemia, which occurs due to deficiency of vit B12 and folic acid deficiency.

I advise you to take food rich in vit B12 and folic acid like green leafy vegetables, meat etc.

For definite confirmation you can get serum B12 assay done.

Take B-complex+ folic acid tablets.

Regards
